The complete candidate list for the May 5th, 2018 Dilley city council election:

Place #3 Filers:

Esmeralda Cano (incumbent) has served ten years (five terms) on Dilley’s city council since 2004.

Alicia Machado formerly served as Dilley’s city secretary.

Place #4 Filers:

Morelsa Aranda (incumbent) has served eighteen years (nine terms) on Dilley’s city council since she was first elected in 1999.

Sara Lee Kallio is a Dilley resident who works at Dilley ISD and has previously worked at Pearsall ISD.

Everardo Castillo Jr. graduated from Dilley High School in 2001, serves on the Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, volunteers with Meals on Wheels, and has coached pee wee football and basketball.

Place #5 Filers:

Ray Aranda (incumbent) has served 17 consecutive years (eight-and-a-half terms) on Dilley’s city council since he first took office in 2001.

Joe Garcia is a lifelong Dilley resident who works at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, previously served on the Planning and Zoning Committee, and coached pee wee football.

Election Day is:
Saturday May 5th 7am-7pm

Voting will be conducted at:
116 E. Miller, Dilley, Texas City Hall, Convention Center

Early Voting by personal appearance will be conducted
Monday April 23 through Tuesday May 1 from 8am to 5pm
Tuesday April 24 8am-8pm
Monday April 30 8am-8pm
